If you do this, you will not be thrown out of the boat but if this happens, safely swim back to the boat.

  • Do Not Panic

With whitewater rafting, the waters are rough and the ride is not smooth. Do not panic as this one of the most thrilling sports. Even when you hit a rock or you are forced out of the boat, maintain your mental stability.

  • Be Clear On Your Level

You are a beginner and you should stick to what beginners do. Although your plan is to test your adrenaline and see how good you can do it, it’s best that you start with the entry level. With persistence and determination, you will make it to the most advanced level.

  • Remember Your Swimming Techniques

Knowing how to swim before going rafting is important. You will have more fun if you can swim and paddle. Even if you are thrown out of the boat by the rough waters, you can swim to safety.

Whitewater rafting is fun and this is how it should but as a beginner, you need to be careful. Besides following the most basic rules, it is important that you enjoy the sport with a licensed, trained and well-experienced instructor.

How to Make a Good Deal when Selling Car Parts to a Wrecking Yard

Everyone loves a good deal right? Well you might not have a need to sell car parts to a wrecker very often but when you do, surely you want the most bang for your buck. Or the most buck for your junk!

If you have a junk car at home then you must be looking forward to selling it to a wrecking yard. You can either sell your entire car of specific parts of it to earn money. You would also be interested in getting the best deal out of your sale.

It is possible for you to sell your old car for junk and get a higher amount than you expect. Here are few effective tips that you can keep in mind to go for the best deal at the wrecking yard.

  1. Before you sell your car parts, you need to be equipped with several things. Original car title holds a prominent place out of them. If you have it, you are guaranteed to receive the best price out of your deal. You should also get hold of driver’s license information and a local phone directory. If you have any negotiation skills and research skills, you will find it as an easy task to get the best deal.
  2. You need to do a detailed research before you get in touch with a specific junkyard. It would be possible for you to find a large number of salvage yards in your local area. You need to prepare a list of them after a research.
  3. Once you complete creating the list, you can get in touch with each junkyard. You can simply tell that you have a car to be sold. You need to tell specific information about the vehicle as well. They include the model, manufacturing year and any specific damages if there are any. You should promptly answer all the other questions of the person at the junkyard. Moreover, you need to be careful to answer them accurately and truthfully.

If the junkyard is interested in purchasing your car, you will receive offers. These offers are usually made via the phone. However, you need to be careful when dealing with junkyards that would request you to bring the vehicle to get an estimate. If you do, you will have to pay for the estimated cost out of your pocket as well.

You shouldn’t stick to a specific junkyard when selling your vehicle. You need to contact all the junkyards in your list and request for offers from everyone. Then you need to sit back and compare all the offers that you have received. In the meantime, you need to check whether the received offers are above your expectations or not.

Once you get hold of the best deal, you can simply go ahead and deliver your wrecked car to the junkyard for parts. In most of the cases, a person from the junkyard would come and carry your car. Otherwise, you will have to spend money out of your pocket for transportation as well. If you are selling the car, you need to get in touch with Department of Motor Vehicles and make sure that title is transferred as well.

He then stood and grabbed the tail wing of the first plane they flew in tandem. Paul used a parachute at that time to get back to the ground safely.

Daring Acts bring Excitment

Have you ever been dared to do something. Did you actually do it? There is something about being in a dare situation that brings excitement and joy. After all if the thing that were dared to do was easy then there would be no reason to dare you!

The first time we are introduced to dares is most likely through the good old game truth or dare. Each player must choose either to tell the truth to an unknown question or do an unknown dare. Sometimes in these situations performing a dare may be easier to do that to actually tell the truth but this all depends on who are you playing the game with. For instance a dare from a group of dare devils may be a lot harder than simply telling the truth. No matter how embarrassing or private the truth might reveal.

Either way I know what I would choose pretty mush all the time. Can you guess? Well if not why are you on this site?!… DARE of course! Yep that’s right I love doing dares, as I said they are exciting and thrilling.

So if you haven’t done something crazy for a while I dare you, nah I double dare you! Facing your fears is the only way that you will ever live your dreams. So go on, do something crazy. You could even dare yourself. Why not. Then the only person you will be lying to if you don’t do it is you. And sometimes that is even worse than your friends knowing your chickened out, cause you have to live with yourself 24/7!

I Dare You… Series?

Heya! So I was stumbling around the internet looking for something to do.. You know what its like when your bored. At least you can always count on the internet to provide entertainment at any time of the day or night… Right?

Well I was thinking I haven’t done any crazy dares for a while so I just started searching for Dare ideas, and hey presto! I found this cool cat group of kids (young adults really) that are filming themselves doing random Dares!

Not only was this a one off video but it appears that they do this all the time.

I haven’t checked it out totally but they said something in this video about being a series. How cool is that?! I reckon it is.

So without further ado – here is the first vid I found. It only goes for about 15mins but is damn funny.

The idea of the show revolves around them writing random dares on bits of paper , putting them all into a hat and then going around the group of them to pull a random dare out of the hat. Some of them are damn funny. Plus they also do some random “Family Guy” style editing during the video which cracks me up.

Well that’s it for now. Let me know what you think in the comments.

I Dare You to Charter a Limo

That is what my mate said to me about 4 weeks ago.

Of course he knows that I never back down from a dare. So naturally I did it. And I tell you what – I dare anyone who reads this to charter a limo for themselves!

If you have not done this before then you are sure to have such an amazing experience. If you already have then you know just how awesome it is and you will most likely have done it again and have plans to.

Now I realise why all those celebs and wealthy folk cruise around in the back seat of those luxury vehicles. I mean I ride in the back of a taxi every now and then but it is nowhere near the same experience.

Limo DriverFor one a limousine, is of a higher class of vehicle. Also the driver himself is dressed in a suit and may be wearing driving gloves and a hat. They really look the part. If you are lucky to get a polite driver who stands by the vehicle and opens the door for you, you are in for a real treat. Not only does it feel like your status has risen about 100 notches but onlookers also see this too. You are now viewed as someone of importance and value. It is definitely a great ego boost for overall confidence and wellbeing.

So anyway once you step into a limousine you are welcomed by the outstanding interior. Not like a taxi where you have worn seats, sometimes some left over rubbish or belongings from the passenger before and possible a funky smell. In a limousine it is all class, style and luxury. A pleasant aroma, you choice of music is offered, the vehicle looks like it came straight from a detailed clean and the latest in technology that I didn’t even know they had in cars! And if you go for a stretch limo then the experience is super amplified however even just a sedan limo is very impressive.

So anyways I booked my limo, chartered it as you will. And it was amazing. Something that I will be looking to do again in the very near future. My booking was just for myself in a sedan and it was just for a short trip but next time I am getting all my mates together and we are going for a limo joy ride in a stretch, maybe even a Hummer. Why not – we are just going to go all out.

It was my mate who had been in one before who was surprised that half our mates had never experienced the feeling of riding in a limo. So he dared me. He knew that I would take on the challenge of a dare and it is super fitting for this website as I will do things that most people have not! But now I am an advocate and will be organising a big trip for all our mate. Some have done it before but some haven’t. Either way riding with a large group of mates is sure to set a chain of events that will equal an epic night!

So go on I dare you to charter a limo. I am sure you will not regret it.

Why Dare Mare Chartering?

Hello and welcome to my first blog post on Dare Mare Chartering. Where I venture into uncharted territory and do things that most people won’t.

You may be wondering why my website is called DareMareChartering.com? And that is a great question.

You see I love a good dare and I love betting. When I had the idea for this website I told my buddies about it and funnily enough I was at the track. I love gambling of all sorts and a day at the horse races is one of my favourite things to do on the weekend.

Races

So anyway I was talking to my buddy about how I wanted to build this website and track my progress of conquering uncharted territory. You know just doing really fun stuff and going where most normal people wouldn’t. After all what is a life lived if you aren’t having fun?

So my buddy was going along with it and to be honest we had already downed a few drinks so we were in a cheerful and jolly mood. He asked me “what are you going to name this website then?”. I said “well I dunno, haven’t decided completely yet but was thinking something about using the words Dare and Chartering and just being crazy”.

My mate was going along with it and  just said something that at the time sounded great. He goes “why don’t you include the name of next mare that wins a race for you” Granted it was already race 8 so there were only 2 more races left but with my exceptional racing knowledge and bookie contacts I can pretty much pick a winner quite easily. To be honest I had already backed 6 winners that day out of the 8 races.

So I said “sure”. You know horse names are always crazy and its great to hear the story behind the name. Hence why I thought I would tell you how I came up with the name for this site.

So I started looking at the horse names in the races and to be honest I really wanted some of those horses to win. They have some outrageous names in there as usual but of course none of those horses won. In fact I disregarded the unique horse names and went with my knowledge of who I reckoned would win. But you know what happened I didn’t back a winner. Not even a place in the last 2 races that day. But it was probably a good thing as the horses that did win have pretty plain Jane names. I can’t even remember them they were so boring haha.

So I said “ok next horse I win on – next weekend.” But my buddy said “No you need to lock it in today. Right now, otherwise you will never decide on a name”.

He was partly right. I did have a tendency to drift away on ideas and not follow through. So I said “But I don’t have a horse name cause I didn’t back a winner” That’s when he said “ah who cares just pick a mare and use that name. Go on I dare ya!”

In my drunken stupor I don’t know if I misheard him of read between the lines but I said “ok this is it! Dare Mare Chartering” Hahaha. When I think back on that it sounds pretty ridiculous. But here I Am. The website is up and here is the first post.

So stay tuned for up coming posts. I’ll get to them as much as I can and will need to keep myself on track (and away from the track ahah) to follow through on this website. But at least I got the name registered and first post out now.

Talk soon.
